2NE1 Fans Accuse CL Of Excessive Screen Time In Japanese Version Of 'Crush' Music Video

2NE1's latest music video has been released with "Crush," and some fans seem displeased with CL's abundance in screen time.

On June 25, the Japanese music video for "Crush" was uploaded to the official 2NE1 YouTube channel. Within 24 hours, the video garnered over 200,000 views and appeared on the "Trending Music Videos" section of YouTube.

Despite the buzz, a few 2NE1 fans are accusing CL of being favored in terms of screen time.

"I'm a huge fan of 2NE1, but it seems like CL featuring 2NE1," commented catsandcandies on YouTube. "By the way, CL is my bias in the group, but things like that make me sad about the other members."

"That's just based on how the song was written," wrote Lillium Goulding on June 25. "But I agree that there's an imbalance in this video. I love CL though."

"Well, CL wrote the song," pointed out Olle Jaginder.

"Crush" is one of the songs written by CL off of 2NE1's new album. Her other writing credits include "If I Were You," "Baby I Miss You" as well as "MTBD," which she co-wrote with producer Teddy Park.

"We worked with [YG producer] Teddy," said CL regarding 2NE1's newest album. "He makes most of 2NE1's music, and I made three songs."

"It's my very first time putting my songs into 2NE1's album. It was fun when we recorded, just the four us. It was more like a party than a recording session."

After CL's foray into music producing for "Crush," her next goal is to release a solo album.

"I would love to put my own album out, of course," admitted the 23-year-old rapper. "I don't know when it will be, but I'm working on it. I'm writing songs, trying to cut demos, everything. Hopefully I can soon."
