"Criminal Minds" season 10 spoilers are here and it's going to be a big one as one of the character's secret could change the face of BAU forever. The CBS network also revealed the premiere date for the next chapter.

A.J. Cook (Jennifer Jareau) dished out "Criminal Minds" season 10 spoilers to Zap2it blog as she said that the first episode will pick up where they left off "in the middle of that shootout guns a blazing."

"We also learn a huge secret about one of the other characters that will forever change the face of the BAU," she said.

However, she declined to provide more "Criminal Minds" season 10 spoilers but A.J. Cook added: "I know that Erica Messer, our showrunner will have a great plan. It's Season 10, its going to be a big season. I will say that how Season 9 ends will directly impact Season 10."

According to Breathecast, each season opens with fans thinking whose character would be writtten off in the show. However, the website that most of the characters will be coming back for season 10.

A.J. Cook also confirmed to Zap2it that the cast gets anxious at the end of every season if their characters would be written off.

"So whenever you get those scripts you skip to the end. It was pretty crazy to see who they decided to shoot, the two heartthrobs. What a way to go. It was so mean to leave it hanging like that and make everyone wait a week," she said.

Meanwhile, CBS has announced that "Criminal Minds" season 10 will return on October 1.

Showrunner Erica Messer, however, is not in a mood to give "Criminal Minds" season 10 spoilers, particularly involving Blake's replacement as she told TVGuide: "We're sort of like, 'Let Season 9 end for real and for the world to see it' right now. And then after the summer break, we can all talk about that and what it might be and the wish list and all that."

"Maybe the show will continue on with six members. That is a big discussion with a lot of people that we'll have soon," she added.
