Hyuna – f(x) – SISTAR – Girl's Day: July Is Girl Groups' War

A collection of female K-pop artists and groups are preparing to make their comeback this summer.

Korean sensations Hyuna, f(x), SISTAR and Girl's Day are all scheduled to come back in July.

Hyuna reportedly filmed her album cover photoshoot on June 26 and announced that she will be making her comeback in early July instead of late July, as she had originally planned.

"This is an album [Hyuna] has been preparing for a long time. She's put a lot of effort into her dancing, songs and visuals," stated a rep for her agency, Cube Entertainment.

F(x) has yet to officially confirm a comeback date, but the members of the idol group will returning sometime in July. The K-pop group's unique concept and trendy music has drawn the attention and expectations of fans to an all-time high.

For their upcoming third studio album titled "Red Light," the girls have changed their look into something very "early-2000s teen-goth," according to Popdust.

In the teaser photos, the girls are wearing heavy, dark eye makeup and in some respect, resemble the cast of "The Craft."

Girl idol group SISTAR, who established themselves as the hottest girl group, reportedly hopes to top music charts once again with their summer comeback. SISTAR will be making their comeback in a year and a month since their previous 2nd full-length album, "Give It To Me," according to Allkpop.

"SISTAR is currently recording the second-half of their new mini album. . . They are putting their all into perfecting their current title track and more. . . They are looking into making a comeback early July," multiple music insiders exclusively told Star News on June 5.

Girl's Day, who has only recently been gaining popularity, announced July 14 as their official comeback date. The girl group is currently preparing for their "Summer Party" solo concert that will be held on July 13 to celebrate their fourth year anniversary.

"Fans will be able to see a new side of Girl's Day never seen before. The entire proceeds of this concert will go to Plan Korea to be used for girls in underdeveloped countries," stated Girl's Day's agency.
