Kim Hyun Joong Kicks Off World Tour With Dynamic Performance In Seoul

Kim Hyun Joong excited 5,000 fans with kick-off concert of his world tour 2014 Kim Hyun Joong World Tour: Dream.

Kim Hyun Joong, who is perhaps best known as the frontman of K-Pop boy band SS501 and his various acting roles including the wildly popular Boys Over Flowers, jump started his world tour this weekend in Seoul.

Performing for a sold out crowd of 5,000 fans, Kim Hyun Joong, tantalized his fans with a high-energy live show at the SK Handball Arena.

The show launched with an impressive laser show and included performances of many of the singer's solo hits such as "Unbreakable" and "Your Story." Kim Hyun Joong also treated the crowd to a few of his new songs that will be included on his next Korean album. Additionally, the live concert featured sensational choreography and dance moves from the K-Pop star and his talented back up dancers.

To make even more delightful memories for his fans, Kim sang acoustic versions of some of his dance tracks and showcased his various dancing skills with a tango performance.

In keeping with the theme of his tour, Kim Hyun Joong said to his fans filling the audience after the lengthy Seoul show, "This was like a dream. It's hard to say this is the end of it. I had hoped that the time I spend with you fans would be forever."

Now that the concert tour has been initiated, Kim Hyun Joong will travel to seven countries to perform for fans.

On June 26, when the poster for the the Dream world tour was unveiled, Kim Hyun Joong's agency, Key East Entertainment, also shared plans for the singer's performances abroad. "Starting with his Seoul concert on the 28th, Kim Hyun Joong is set to meet fans in a total of eleven cities across 7 countries including Taiwan, China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou), Japan (Yokohama, Hiroshima, Osaka), Thailand, Mexico and Peru," a rep said.
