"Bones" season 10 cast Emily Deschanel is enjoying the time off from the series by bonding with 2-year-old son, whom she claimed is already 99% vegan.

The 37-year-old actress also said that she wants to make sure that her son understand the importance of health, which is why she finds time out of her busy schedule to exercise.

"You work all of these hours and when you have time off, you don't want to spend it working out while raising a child," she said in an interview with People magazine in Beverly Hills. "[But it is] important ... to be healthy and show him that that's important."

"Bones" season 10 cast Emily Deschanel said that her son is at that age when they can already communicate well and actually hold a conversation.

She also admitted that it wasn't easy balancing the rigors of shooting a series and raising a child, which is why she's taking advantage of the break from "Bones" to bond with his son, "put him to bed, and cuddle - do all of the fun things I love doing with him."

The secret to motherhood, she said, is to take it day to day, as she explained: "You could be dealing with one issue, and then the next day it's gone and you're dealing with something else. I don't know how things change so quickly or how much he can surprise you."

"Bones" season 10 cast Emily Deschanel also revealed that his son Henry is 99% vegan just because her husband, David Hornsby, "is not 100 percent vegan."

When "Bones" return this fall, Emily Deschanel's character Dr. Brennan and her on-screen partner Agent Booth will have to deal with a conspiracy right at the top to take them down.

As "Bones" season 10 cast Emily Deschanel earlier told E! News: "I don't want to say it's a conspiracy theory -- because it may not be a theory. There really may be conspiracies happening against Booth and Brennan and then possibly everyone at the Jeffersonian."
