KCON 2014:Big Bang G-Dragon & Lee Seung Gi Join Girls' Generation, CNBLUE, IU & More

On June 30, Billboard's Jeff Benjamin broke the exclusive news that Big Bang leader G-Dragon will be making a return to KCON.

G-Dragon delivered a resounding performance with Missy Elliot at KCON 2013.

G-Dragon is the first YG Entertainment artist to be included in the lineup for KCON 2014.

His return for KCON 2014 has led fans of G-Dragon and Big Bang into a frenzy prior to ticket sales.

K-Drama fans have something to rejoice about as "You're All Surrounded" star and top acting idol Lee Seung Gi will also be attending KCON 2014. Lee Seung Gi has seamlessly perforrmed as a K-Pop solo vocalist and actor starring in some of the most beloved K-Dramas including "Gu Family Book" and "The King 2 Hearts."

YG Entertainment actress Yoo In Na who most recently starred in the hit drama "You Who Came From The Stars," also known as "My Love From The Stars," will be attending KCON 2014. This presence of K-Drama stars is unprecedented in relation to the past two years of KCON.

Actor Lee Seo Ji who has recently starred in "Wonderful Days" has also been announced to join the lineup.

Also joining the recent announcement is girl group SPICA, in their first U.S. performance. Fans of girl groups have made their voices heard by pressing for a stronger female presence in the KCON 2014 lineup.

Male groups Teen Top and B1A4 were announced as part of the upcoming lineup during the KCON Live Chat on June 27.

The organizers at KCON have since removed B1A4 from the official lineup until future notice.

KCON organizers also announced the addition of K-Rock performer Jung Joon Young, who recently released the album “Teenager,” to the lineup.

G-Dragon joins previously announced artists Girls' Generation, CNBLUE, IU, BTS, and VIXX. G-Dragon will headline the first concert, which is much anticipated by Big Bang fans (VIPs).

KCON 2014 will feature two concerts which will be filmed as part of M! Countdown, with a wide variety of special guest programming and panels.

Multiple day or combo tickets for KCON 2014 will go on sale on July 1 via Ticketmaster, with single day (individual ticket) sales beginning on July 3.
