BoA To Make Special Appearance At m-flo's 'a-nation' Tour This August

The "Queen of Korean Pop" is returning with a comeback that is sure to blow fans away once again.

Singer and actress BoA will be heading to Japan to make a special appearance at the "a-nation island VERBAL Presents OTO_MATSURI 2014 x m-flo TOUR 'FUTURE is WOW' Special Final" on August 20.

The concert is held every year and is hosted by a-nation and produced by the group m-flo. A handful of top artists will be performing at the concert along with BoA, including m-flo, MNDR, MACO, Matt Cab and others.

BoA previously collaborated with m-flo for the song "The Love Bug," so fans are beyond excited to see them perform on the same stage.

The 27-year-old will be releasing her new Japanese single "Masayume Chasing" this month as well. The dancer will be holding her first concert tour in Japan in four years this September.

The "BoA" hitmaker celebrated her 15th anniversary since debuting as a singer in the Korean music industry in mid-June.

BoA posted a photo of herself as a 15-year-old on her Twitter account with the caption, "So today is the day that I've been a celebrity for half of my life? Then tomorrow I will have been a singer for longer than that. I'll keep doing my best. Here's a picture of baby BoA."

BoA, which stands for Beat of Angel, debuted back in 2000 with the album "ID; Peace B." Two years after her explosive debut in Korea, she released her debut Japanese album "Listen to My Heart."

BoA made her official debut in the U.S. with her single "Eat You Up" and her self-titled album in 2008.

Despite her immense success, the Korean's sensation's life as an ultra-celebrity wasn't easy while she was growing up.

The entertainer's mom, Sung Young Ja, made an appearance on the June 5 episode of the SBS talk show "Good Morning," where she opened up about the bullying her daughter had to face, according to the publication Allkpop.

"BoA debuted at an early age and grew out her hair (while doing entertainment activities.) One day, her sunbaes (seniors) dragged her to the bathroom and pulled at her hair, asking why she grew out her hair. There were people using the 'senior' card," stated Sung.

The mother of the superstar performer added, "BoA had a very hard time whenever stuff like that happened. However, the principal said, 'BoA is active as a celebrity, so please understand.' Fortunately, the love and care around BoA gave her strength."
