FTISLAND Confirms Attendance For Japan '2014 Summer Sonic' Festival

FTISLAND will be making their Japanese fans very happy in the near future.

The band has officially announced that they will be performing at the "2014 Summer Sonic" festival in Tokyo on August 16 and 17.

This will be the band's third time attending "Summer Sonic," which is one of the top rock festivals in Japan.

This year, Queen as well as other top global stars will be attending the event. FTISLAND will reportedly be performing on both the Rainbow stage and the Flower stage, heating up Tokyo and Osaka.

The idol band just recently completed their "The Passion" Japan Arena tour, successfully showcasing how much they've grown through their eight years in the music industry. The group is known for bringing their own style of energy and charisma when performing for their fans.

Members of FTISLAND have been branching out in the K-pop scene in their own way.

FTISLAND's lead singer, Lee Hong Gi, has already traveled to Hong Kong and Taiwan to hold solo fan meetings and will be holding another one in Singapore on July 19, according to Allkpop.

The singer will be performing "What I Wanted To Say" from the "Bride of the Century" OST, "Still" from the "You're Beautiful" OST and more.

Despite his busy schedule after his group wrapped their concerts around Asia earlier this year, Lee revealed to Today Online that he still dreams of going on vacation.

"I would like to go to South-east Asia. One of our band members, Jong Hun, went to South-east Asia for a few weeks and he told me he had a good time there. I envy him, so I really want to go there for vacation!" said Lee.

FTISLAND's bassist and second vocalist Jae Jin has also been doing activities outside of his band. The idol member hosted the grand finale competition of Kpop Star Hunt 3 in Singapore earlier this year.
