U-Kiss Fans React To Controversial 'Don't Flirt' Music Video

As U-Kiss continues to promote their album "Mono Scandal" and single "Don’t Flirt," fans are seeing the popular K-pop band in a whole new light.

Last month, U-Kiss released the music video for "Don’t Flirt," which was rated mature for viewers older than 18.

The choreography for "Quit Playing" was deemed inappropriate for broadcast on all of South Korea's major television networks. U-KISS and their agency agreed to modify the group's routine so that they may appear on the networks' music performance programs to promote the new single and EP.

But the U-Kiss music video continues to tantalize fans on YouTube, and the phenomenon of fans posting reaction videos has made "Don't Flirt" even more infamous.

Reaction videos are a popular trend amongst K-pop fans, where viewers film their reactions as they watch a particular music video.

In several reaction videos on YouTube, you can see fans' shock and surprise at the mature content exhibited in "Don’t Flirt," which is a reaction even certain members of U-Kiss share with their new concept.

"As you know, I'm part of a group and sometimes being a part of a group and working in the entertainment industry means I don't always have full creative freedom to do things how I wish," tweet U-Kiss member Kevin on Twitter. "This inner conflict that I deal with as a K-Pop artist and group member applies to this situation. I personally do not believe in the behavior portrayed in our music video 'Quit Playing', and the characters we had to portray in this music video were not the characters I chose."

"I would like to apologize to our fans and viewers who might have been offended by the material in the music video and choreography. Thank you for allowing me to share my heart about this situation."
