Psy's 'Hangover' MV Tops 'Most Viewed MV For First Half Of 2014' List

Psy's "Hangover" continues to make headlines over a month after its release.

The music video for the track was spotted on the list of "Most Viewed YouTube Video For First Half of 2014" list, which was released by the video sharing website on July 9.

While the video for "Hangover" was the most viewed K-pop music video, Girls' Generation's "Mr. Mr." came close at No. 2 while EXO ranked at No. 3. Popular girl group 2NE1 came at No. 4.

SMTOWN, Psy and Big Bang's official YouTube channels took the top 3 spots as Korea's YouTube channels with the most growth.

It doesn't come as a surprise that Psy has continued to top music charts, especially after the explosive success of his first global hit, "Gangnam Style," which recently surpassed 2 billion views, making it YouTube's most watched video.

As of 2p.m. today, the music video for "Hangover" had garnered more than 94. 8 million views since its release on June 9, according to Yonhap News.

It seems that both Snoop Dogg and Psy enjoyed the process of working on the 5-minute clip, which shows the two men drinking and partying together.

"For me, it was awesome, because I've always wanted to be in a martial arts video," Snoop Dogg told Jimmy Kimmel on his talk show, according to NY Daily News.

The rapper seemed to have enjoyed filming despite the tight schedule that he had to juggle.

"I initially told him that the shoot would by very relaxed and that he would only be in five scenes to entice him to come to Seoul and shoot the video. He ended up being in more than 20 scenes in more than 10 different locations within those 18 hours," Psy told CNN.

The Korean sensation added, "We all know how diligent Snoop is. He is all about working hard every time - haha. I am just joking. I was very surprised working with him because he ended up shooting 20 different scenes in a short time - it was a tough schedule, but he was a total pro and I appreciated it so much."
