Novak Djokovic and his Serbian girlfriend Jelena Ristic's wedding is a big deal in Serbia - equivalent to a "royal wedding" according to Busted Racquet. Sounds about right as Novak Djokovic was crowned the king of Wimbledon just three days before his wedding!

And like all famous celebrities getting hitched these days, this is also a shotgun wedding. Jelena Ristic will be sporting a maternity wedding dress. She is expecting the couple's first child in this coming October.

Djokovic recently told the press, "I am looking forward to changing diapers and not sleeping for nights. I know it is going to be very difficult and that I shall be tired all the time, but I am looking forward to that time".

His girlfriend wrote on her Twitter, "Journey is more important than the destination and this was hell of a journey my love!!!! @DjokerNole #Wimbledon2014 #Champion". So far, the Wimbledon champion has been keeping tabs on World Cup games as he gears up for his wedding:

According to a Serbian tabloid Bic, the Djokovics have rented "apartments at one of the most luxurious summer resorts at the Adriatic Sea". As this is a high-security event, the family has not confirmed any details about the wedding and asked the guests to "not to talk publicly about details of the ceremony".

The guest lists will potentially include Viktor Troicki, Janko Tipsarevic, Ana Ivanovic, Jelena Jankovic, Nenad Zimonjic, Andy Murray and Maria Sharapova.

Media will be banned at this event, but good news - Novak Djokovic has sold the rights to the wedding photos, which will be released soon after the wedding! The pictures will reveal the wedding's spectacular location, it's A-list guests and Jelena's maternity wedding dress. The money from the wedding photos will go towards charity.
