JYJ Yoochun Makes Special Memories With Fans At Solo Japan Fan Meeting

JYJ member Yoochun's recent visit to Japan was welcomed by devoted fans who greeted him at the airport.

The singer and actor held his "I Miss You" fan meeting in Yokohama on July 9, spending three hours with 15,000 fans.

Some fans in the audience were seen holding posters that read, "Yoochun, we missed you" as they sang the opening theme song from his recent drama, "I Miss You."

"As soon as I stood on stage, I was so touched that I was on the verge of tears. It is my first time meeting fans through a solo event in Japan, so I was nervous and worried about not being very good at Japanese. But I'm happy that I was able to have such a good time. I will greet you with a better image," stated Yoochun, according to Allkpop.

The idol member also reenacted five of the best scenes from the drama and was spotted signing DVDs and CDs of the drama's soundtrack.

In the midst of Yoochun's solo success, JYJ announced that they would be making their official comeback this month with their second full-length album. The K-pop group will be launching their Asia tour at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on August 9.

The return of the trio has caused so much buzz that the first round of tickets for JYJ's upcoming concert in Seoul sold out in just 20 minutes, according to the Korea Herald.

JYJ fans have proven to remain loyal to the K-pop group through and through. When the boy band was reportedly dropped from the official list of performers for the opening and closing ceremonies for the upcoming Incheon Asian Games, fans expressed outrage, demanding "fair treatment" of JYJ on IAG's official Facebook page, according to the publication Hellokpop.

After the members of JYJ parted from DBSK, now known as TVXQ, the trio has allegedly had to deal with being denied stage appearance on music shows, reportedly causing fans to believe that the group is being "neglected."
