The only thing that has Benedict Cumberbatch more riled up than "Sherlock" season 4 news is the rumors surrounding his new girlfriend.

"It's time for all those 'Cumberbitches' to move on," said TV Producer Rebecca Eaton according to IBTimes.

“He’s keeping it hush-hush but it’s safe to say he’s smitten," said an "insider" to ShowBizSpy.

But who may be the mysterious girlfriend of Benedict Cumberbatch.

The most recent suspect is Dakota Johnson, who will be playing Anastasia Steele in "50 Shades of Grey." Recently at the Met Gala, the pair was spotted having dinner together, and photos surfaced which caused fans to claim that Dakota Johnson was in fact Benedict Cumberbatch's girlfriend.

However, it is believed that Dakota Johnson is linked with her boyfriend Jordan Masterston.

And as Benedict Cumberbatch fans continue to dissect all the girlfriend rumors, the actor has been confirmed for "Sherlock" season 4, which will return first with a Christmas Special in 2015.

"Series Four! At last!" wrote actor and executive producer Mark Gatiss. "It's always special to return to Sherlock but this time it's even more special as we're doing...a Special!"

"Not only THAT, we'll then be shooting three more episodes which will take Sherlock and John Watson into deeper and darker water than ever before...The whole 'Sherlock' team are terrifically excited to return for four new adventures. The Game is on — again!"

According to Christian Today, "Sherlock" season 4 will feature the return of Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch, and will be comprised of the Christmas Special in addition to three addition episodes to air after that.
