BTS To Perform Free Los Angeles Concert On July 14

BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, have been full of surprises since debuting last year.

The boys have managed to pull off one of their wonderfully shocking surprises by announcing on their official Twitter account that two hundred fans will be given the opportunity to see BTS at a free concert in Los Angeles on Monday, July 14.

This concert will be one of the first opportunities for fans within the United States to see the male group perform. The performance will be held at the Troubadour, with doors opening at 6PM PST and the show starting at 7PM.

The members of BTS will be telling fans about "what they learned in the U.S." thus far while giving fans the performance of a lifetime. The show has been capped at 200 fans, with entrance determined on a first come, first serve basis.

The seven members of BTS, which is led by Rap Monster, were the 2013 recipients of the MelOn New Artists of the Year Award and the Golden Disk New Comer Award. Despite their debut only a year ago, BTS has continued to build a solid fan base internationally.

BTS was initially recognized within the K-Pop world for their hip hop sound, but has developed overall appeal amongst audiences for their well-developed R&B style.

The boy group recently released a new version of the album "Skool Luv Affair" and is included in the lineup of KCON 2014.

BTS will also be starring in their own reality television program titled "BTS's American Hustle Life," which will be produced by CJ E&M, according to Allkpop.

The chief producer of their agency, Bang Si Hyuk, is currently in Los Angeles working on the group's comeback album. He recently tweeted pictures of himself working alongside guitarist Grecco Buratto, who plays in Shakira's tour band, as well as engineer Bob Horn, who has worked with Timabland, Neyo and Usher in the past.

"While BTS was in America, they worked on their music and they plan on revealing how they prepared every day. The dates for broadcasting have not yet been decided. Regarding the comeback album, you should be able to hear it this summer," a broadcasting rep told Star News.
