On July 3 at Super Junior's album press release for their new 6th album, Sexy, Free&Single, member Shindong shared, "Our members have gotten together just to discuss entry to the military for a whole day" and "Should we all go together, one at a time, or half and half? We've talked for a long time and our final decision is that for the group Super Junior's sake, we're each going to take turns going."

Yesung added, "I wonder what'll happen to us when Leeteuk goes, but, it's a relief to know that no matter who goes, we can maintain our group. It's nice that even if one or two go, we can keep performing."

Eunhyuk stated, "I hope Super Junior lasts for a long time," and emphasized, "Whatever each member individually does, we're going to do it together." 

WIth his military entry only around the corner after now having released the 6th album, Leeteuk shared, "It's probably the biggest assignment, and the longest schedule, but rather than thinking about when we'll go to the military, it's better to hurry and get it done so we can be a part of the next album. We'll show the fans an even better side upon returning."
