Kim Jong Guk And Haha Hold Successful U.S. 'Running Man' Concert

Before their days on the hit variety show, "Running Man," Kim Jong Guk and Haha were known for their ability to grasp the hearts of fans through their music.

The two entertainers returned to their roots this weekend with their "RUNNINGMAN BRO'S CONCERT" in Palm Springs, meeting with 3,000 local fans.

Kim Jong Guk and Haha each sang their hit songs, heating up the stage for their fans, many of whom drove over 20 hours to see the pair perform. As a service to their fans, Kim thanked the audience in English for coming such a long way just to support them.

During the course of the concert, Kim and Haha also sang pop songs for their fans.

Kim Jong Guk's agency emphasized that the two members of "Running Man" have started a different kind of hallyu trend with their role on the SBS show.

Kim, also known as "Tiger," has been slowly making his comeback to the music scene. The singer recently performed at Encorp Strand Mall, Kota Damansara for hundreds of fans, according to The Star.

18-year-old fan, Shien Yi, was amongst the audience that watched the idol perform during the early June performance.

"I like Jong Guk the best because he is a great singer and he has such a lovable and cute personality, despite having a buff physique," stated Shien Yi.

"Running Man" has become as well known as its cast members. The variety show has become so popular that a Chinese adaptation is already in the works, according to the publication Hellokpop.

Song Ji Hyo, Kim Jong Guk, Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Kwang Soo were among the original cast members who sent a video greeting to show their support and invite viewers to watch the adaptation of the game show.

"Running Man" will be called "Run, Brother!" in China and will be co-produced by China's Zhejiang Satellite TV and Korean SBS TV.
