The power of Twitter is proven once again with G-Dragon, CL of 2NE1, and their collaboration single with Skrillex titled "Dirty Vibe."

Skrillex released his latest album "Recess" on March 14, and the song "Dirty Vibe" features 2NE1 and Big Bang leaders CL and G-Dragon.

After being released on iTunes, the album quickly shot up to the top of the electronic music chart in the United States. In addition, the album also hit the top slot in Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, El Salvador, New Zealand, Paraguay, Thailand, and Ukraine.

On July 15, G-Dragon tweeted a YouTube video of a "Dirty Vibe" remix by DJ Snake. While the video itself does not credit CL or G-Dragon, who contributed to the original track, the Big Bang leader made sure to mention the YG acts in his tweet.

Within four hours, the tweet received 6,000 retweets and nearly 8,000 favorites. In addition, the hashtag "CL of 2NE1" began trending worldwide, right above the hashtag "DJ Snake Remix."

Because of this surprising turn of events, 2NE1, CL, and G-Dragon fans around the world are celebrating the achievement.

"I go by the name of CL of 2NE1," tweeted PrincessYzza, alluding to 2NE1's debut single "Fire." "It's been a long time coming, but we're here now."

"G-Dragon brought me here," commented DestinyPark214 on the DJ Snake Remix YouTube video.

However, some observers criticized G-Dragon for using "CL of 2NE1" due to its informal and cordial nature.

"'CL of 2NE1' looks awkward," tweeted YGStan. "Don't act like you don't know her."

Reportedly, G-Dragon is also one of the primary producers for the upcoming Big Bang comeback, which Taeyang also alluded to during a KBS interview.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 is wrapping up their world tour series in Japan after performing at the Yokohama Arena in front of 34,000 fans on July 5 and July 6, and at the World Memorial Hall in Kobe, Japan on July 12 and July 13.
