Dynamic Duo And U.S. DJ Primary To Release Collaboration Album, 'A Great Step'

Hip-hop group Dynamic Duo has officially made their comeback.

The Korean duo and American artist, DJ Primary, released their collaborative album, "A Great Step," today.

Their single, "AEAO," is the perfect mix of Korean and American hip-hop, characterized by a soulful beat and an easy to follow melody, accompanied by the collaborative rap lyrics of the two teams.

The video released for "AEAO" was also a collaboration between the artists who helped create each motion for the stop-motion production, according to the publication Allkpop.

Now that their album has been released, Dynamic Duo and DJ Primary will getting together for their first live showcase through Naver Music.

Dynamic Duo, which consists of members Choiza and Gaeko, debuted back in 2003. Throughout the course of their career, the duo became recognized for bringing Korean hip-hop out from under the shadows and into the light of mainstream music.

Along with their music, the pair has been making appearances in popular music programs and variety shows in South Korea. They're scheduled to appear on the upcoming episode of "Saturday Night Live Korea," which will air on July 19.

Due to their fairly early debut, Choiza and Gaeko were able to experience and be a part of the evolution of Korean music firsthand. The pair sat down with Billboard last year to reflect on the changes that they've witnessed since they debuted, one of which is the opportunity to perform overseas more regularly.

"When we first debuted, we didn't have opportunities to perform in the States. We are here today because of all the efforts that K-pop artists have made throughout the years," stated Gaeko.

Choize added, "When we did come to the States to perform a couple years back - we saw a lot of American-Koreans in the audience. But now we see a lot of other nationalities supporting our music. That's when we realize how big K-pop has become."
