JYJ To Kick Off Their 'JYJ Membership Week' Expo On July 31st

Popular trio K-Pop male group JYJ is once again going to hold their huge annual festival in Seoul this month. JYJ, who are comprised of members Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu, will meet their fans locally and abroad for their third annual 'JYJ Membership Week' expo.

The expo will initiate on July 31st and run until August 3 at the COEX convention center in southern Seoul, according to C-JeS Entertainment. There will be two halls filled with activity throughout that week.  Ever since their first expo in 2012, the event has been free to their fans and draws in more than 20,000 fans from all over.

The theme for this year is, "All about JYJ music."  Fans will see videos, photos of the group, and over 600 stage outfits that they have worn. Plus, they will be able to see the filming set from their upcoming video and album, according to C-JeS Entertainment.

According to their agency, it is expected that a total of 23,000 fan club members will attend the free event for this year.

Along with this expo festival, JYJ is also going to have an Asian tour during the month of August. The guys will first initiate in South Korea on August 9th. Then they will travel to two more cities, Shanghai and Hong Kong. C-JeS Entertainment said, "JYJ plans to meet 40,000 fans at the Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on August 9. This will be their first concert in four years since their concert in November 2010, which brought in a total of 70,000 fans over two nights."

JYJ said, "We are thrilled at the thought of meeting fans through JYJ's album and concert for the first time in a long time. We are joyful and happy just from recording music with our members." They further explained, "We will repay our fans' love with a feel-good album and concert."
