SBS "K-Pop Star 2" contestant Jeon Min Ju and Mnet's "Superstar K3"'s Euna Kim will debut with idol group THE ARK.

Jeon Min Ju and Euna Kim will debut separately as individual artists, and then regroup to make their official debut.

THE ARK, five-member female idol group with Jeon Min Ju and Euna Kim, takes its name from Joan of Ark, who saved France during the war with England. The new girl group will be a 21^st century model girl group - independent, strong, active, but detailed.

Staff stated: "Euna Kim is a very talented rapper, and Jeon Min Ju's forte lies in her powerful performances; their value has been proved through their solo project. The group will capture men's hearts through each member's unique character and talent."

THE ARK's logo is also notable - despite its butterfly-shaped form, the logo is structured with sword, shield, and bow and arrow. The butterfly represents the strong inner strength of the group, with each member reuniting to form an overall beauty.

THE ARK is currently geared up for debut after Jeon Min Ju and Euna Kim's solo promotions.
