The Pokemon X and Y movie is about to release in Japan, and now fans can catch the anime special featuring Diancie before the premiere!

The Pokemon X and Y anime special takes place right before the "Diancie & the Cocoon of Destruction." In it, the Diamond Ore Country is in crisis, so the leader Diancie and her four Carbink butlers decide to hunt down the legendary Pokemon Xerneas to try and resolve the issues. However, they encounter many trials on the way.

The official YouTube channel for the Pokemon channel has uploaded the short before the Pokemon X and Y movie release date and you can check it out below.

It is anticipated that the Mega Evolution of Diancie, Mega Diancie, will make its appearance in the movie after being unveiled in this month's CoroCoro leaks.

"It was revealed today that when players transfer Mythical Pokemon Diancie from Pokemon X or Pokemon Y into Pokemon Omega Ruby or Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, it can Mega Evolve in battle after obtaining its Mega Stone," says the official Pokemon Company press release.

To obtain a Diancie, a distribution event will be held during the theater run of the Pokemon X and Y movie from July 19 to September 30. Reportedly, the Diancie distribution event will give Pokemon fans a Level 50 Diancie, with the moves Diamond Storm, Reflect, Moonblast, and Return. It will also hold a Normal Gem.

With this distribution event, the upcoming Pokemon movie, and the anime special, fans have a lot to look forward to next month.
