In Korea, which K-pop artists do you think are the most popular among students? Based on the survey, BTS, EXO, Brave Girls, NCT, and more have been chosen!

On July 30, Eduwill conducted a survey with the theme: "Who is the No. 1 male and female idol groups that will blow the heat away?" This aims to determine the most popular groups among students.

Eduwill is a comprehensive education company, founded in 2002 by Yang Hyeong Nam and is currently run by CEO Park Myung Kyu.

As the students are currently preparing for their review and job specifications in July, the company conducted a survey, which was participated by 1,288 students who will take the civil servant exam and university students who are looking for jobs.

Brave Girls topped the list with 37.9 percent. Trailing behind is TWICE with 27.5 percent, while "Next Level" singers, aespa, secured the third spot with 21.2 percent of votes, the youngest group in the female category.

In fact, due to the massive popularity of "Next Level," it joined the list of "banned" K-pop songs among students. Due to its addictive sound and lyrics, those who are set to take exams, particularly CSAT, are discouraged to listen to it – or its catchy sound will stick better than the lessons students are trying to review.

Some of the popular "banned" K-pop songs among students include SHINee's "Ring Ding Dong," Red Velvet's "Dumb Dumb" and "Zimzalabim," and BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU."

Lastly, MAMAMOO ranked fourth, with 10.3 percent of the votes. Aside from the top four, BLACKPINK, Lovelyz, and Red Velvet were also selected by the student participants.

An Eduwill official explained the purpose of the survey, saying, "It is expected that job seekers or test takers who are in the midst of preparing specifications will have a lot of difficulties due to the heatwave and tropical nights that continue every day. We wanted to give them some time to cool down."
