BTOB To Hold 'Summer Vacation with BTOB' Japan Solo Concert This Summer

BTOB will be visiting fans in Japan before they release more music.

The seven-member idol group has announced that they will be holding a total of four concerts in Japan this summer.

They will begin their solo tour on July 19 with their first performance in Osaka and will continue on to Tokyo on July 21. BTOB reportedly plans to give fans quite the show, performing a wide range of songs while even singing J-pop tracks during the course of the concerts as well.

BTOB, which only debuted in 2012, began promoting themselves overseas right as they entered the music industry, and have been noted as rising artists in Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia and many other parts of Asia.

The boys held their first international promotion event in Singapore back in 2012 and were shocked to find out that 800 fans were waiting to see them, according to Allkpop.

"I'm so surprised to see this many people here. I could barely hear our song through the cheers from the crowd. It feels great to be able to feel your love like this. Although it was short, it was an extremely meaningful time for us. I hope to meet with our fans this closely in the future, on or off stage," Peniel had stated after their concert was over.

The K-pop group currently consists of members Seo Eunkwang, Lee Min Hyuk, Lee Changsub, Lim Hyunsik, Shin Peniel, Jung Ilhoon and Yook Sungjae. The members are working on their individual promotions while they prepare for their upcoming comeback.

BTOB has been known for their vocal skills more than anything else, which is relatively uncommon in K-pop.

"Before our debut, we discussed at length about what it meant to be a live dance singer. You can't deny that there is a negative stereotype attached to idol groups, but we figured that if we showed our vocal talent through our live performances, they'd come through," explained BTOB during an interview with Kuki Media.
