FTISLAND Lee Hong Ki's Musical, 'Vampire' Sells Out Of Tickets For Japan Performance

FTISLAND's Lee Hong Ki is making his comeback as a musical star.

The first showing of "Vampire" has been completely sold out in Japan after it was announced that the idol member would be playing the lead role of Dracula.

This is the singer's first musical return in five years, which has Japanese fans beyond excited. "Vampire" will officially open to the public in Japan next month for a total of seven performances.

Lee Hong Ki will also be returning to the small screen with his role in the upcoming drama "Modern Farmer," according to Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

"Lee Hong Ki has been cast in the SBS drama called 'Modern Farmer' as a guy named Lee Min Gi, who is the main character of the drama," a representative of FNC Entertainment announced earlier this month.

Lee's character will reportedly be a genius rocker, who is the main vocalist and guitarist to a rock band called "Excellent Souls."

The FTISLAND member showed off his acting skills in the drama "Bride of the Century" earlier this year. The drama continues to be popular in other parts of Asia.

Despite Lee Hong Ki's success outside of FTISLAND, the singer stated that it's not the same without the presence of his fellow band mates.

"If I had my band members with us, we would definitely have many live segments during our fan meet, because we would have our instruments with us. I'm sure it would be a lot of fun," the singer told TODAY during an interview at the Ritz Carlton Singapore.

Lee, who is visiting fans in Hong Kong, Taipei and Singapore, is using this trip as an opportunity to spend time with his mother, who is currently accompanying him.

"It's about managing time constraints, and balancing all my work at the same time. It's a big challenge, because we are very short on time, but we have many things to do!" said Lee about balancing work and play.
