Wu Yi Fan aka EXO's Kris is resurfacing in the music world after a hiatus due to his alleged lawsuit against SM Entertainment.

Recently on YouTube, an official soundtrack song for the Chinese film "Tiny Times 3" was uploaded featuring Kris. It was a pleasant surprise for some fans as the rapper rarely sang during his tenure with EXO.

"Listen to this SM," commented Galaxy Rimrim on YouTube. "You lost a talented guy and also his fans. I don't know why but it seemed to me when he was singing this he was thinking of EXO members the lyrics are just like they are talking about their story sadness, betrayal, love."

"This is immensely soothing for me," wrote Tazeen AnMe on July 18. "The beauty in his voice, that talent that SM wouldn't let him express. I couldn't be happier now that I can hear him sing to his fullest."

On June 11, the Korean news publication Hangook Sports reported that legal counsel for both Kris and SM Entertainment were ordered in Seoul Central District Court to pursue out-of-court mediation with the goal of reaching a mutual agreement before the case goes to trial.

However, the two parties failed to reach reconciliation during the mediation, which could indicate the case between Kris and SM Entertainment will go to court.

Currently, the active members of EXO are taking their "Lost Planet" world tour to parts of China, and will be seen in Shanghai at the Mercedes-Benz Arena on July 18 and July 19. They will then travel to Changsha and Singapore on July 27 and August 23, respectively.

"When you have all these people together, of course there will be problems," said EXO-M's Lay during a recent taping of "Happy Camp."

"But you just have to endure it a bit and it will pass. We're a team."
