Shia LaBoeuf's arrest and bad behaviour has grabbed the attention of two of Hollywood's biggest stars. The troubled actor, who was arrested for disorderly conduct in New York City while at a production of "Cabaret" in June, has been offered a helping hand by power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

"Brad and Angelina admire anyone who works to turn their life around, so they wanted to offer Shia a helping hand,"  writes the Independent. "They understand how hard it can be to kick demons."

Angelina Jolie's own demons have come into the spotlight recently after a video of the superstar actress allegedly high on heroin in the 90s was released. There are now rumors she is pressing charges against the Daily Mail for the video and accompanying story.

Shia LaBeouf and Brad Pitt met on the set of "Fury", a World War II-based film that's slated for a November 14 release in the US. Stories of Shia's behavior soon began to filter out to the public.

"There were claims Shia pulled out his own tooth during shooting and also stopped washing so he could get into character," wrote the Independent.

It's rumored that this was when Brad began to wonder if Shia LaBeouf's actions were "symptomatic of a deeper issue", and he knew it was time to step in and offer support.

"Brad's a positive guy who tries to put good energy out there whenever he can. He loves a success story," said the Independent.

Following Shia's arrest in June, other celebrities weren't so quick to rush to his side, with some instead mocking the actor on Twitter after the event.

"I feel you Shia: In 1993 I was carried out of Les Mis screaming because I couldn't handle the intimations of death," wrote "Girls" star Lena Dunham on Twitter.

"Optimus Prime came to @BulletsOverBway last night and was perfectly well behaved and respectful," posted Zach Braff on Twitter, referring to LaBeouf's former part in the Transformers films.
