Jason Biggs Twitter Quips About Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 Prompts ‘OITNB’ Star To Apologize; ‘Insensitive And Ill-Timed,’ Says Actor About His Plane Crash Remarks

Jason Biggs Twitter account appears to be a war zone as it is unstoppable in earning haters. Recently, the 'Orange is the New Black' star infuriated Twitter users when he posted several jokes about the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crash.

His first tweet read: "Anyone want to buy my Malaysia Airlines frequent flier miles?" which he followed up with: "In all seriousness tho-HOW DO YOU MISTAKENLY SHOOT DOWN A COMMERCIAL PLANE?! Ugh."

This is not the first time that Jason Biggs' Twitter account earned backlash. In May, many were ticked off when he joked about the sudden death of 'Bachelorette' contestant Eric Hill.

"Crazy rule change- instead of voting off the contestants, this season#TheBachelorette gets to kill them off," he tweeted on May 20.

A month after, he also mocked Tara Reid's body on the web show of Joan Rivers.

The 'American Pie' actor appears to have realized his untimely quips about the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crash that he deleted his tweets and posted a four-part series of apology:

"1) Hey all- ok, so- I am deleting my previous tweets. People were offended, and that was not my intent. Sorry to those of you that were.

2) This is obviously a horrible tragedy, and everyone-including myself- is sad and angry about it. Sending positive thoughts to the

3) victims and their families. P.S. No one is making me send these tweets- I simply understand that my comments might have come off"

4). as insensitive and ill-timed. For that, I apologize."

Last year, he explained his penchant for instigating issues on his Twitter account to Esquire: "You know what really gets me off? The hate. Oh, how I love the hate. Weird? Perhaps. But to me, watching people get riled up over the most trivial things is pure fking gold."
