SS501's Kim Hyun Joong held a special fan event for his fans.

On July 5, Kim Hyun Joong made an appearance at various Japanese album stores to hold a surprise guerrilla meeting with his fans.

To show his thanks for supporting his 2nd single album HEAT, he decided to personally meet his fans.

At one Japanese album store, fans who recognized him started to fill up the store and streets. Kim Hyun Joong's popularity could be seen by the hundreds of fans that began to appear at the store.

Fans screamed as Kim Hyun Joong signed c.d's and smiled and waved to his fans from his album booth.

After the release of his 2nd single, HEAT, on July 4, he sold 140,000 copies and placed 1st on the Japan Oricon Daily Chart.

Kim Hyun Joong will also hold a hand-shaking event on July 7 in Osaka and hold a concert at the Saitama Super Arena, "Kim  Hyun Joong 'HEAT' 2012 in JAPAN" and show live performances.
