Singer BoA To Release New Japan Album This September And Hold A Live Tour

Korean pop sensation BoA is making her return to the entertainment industry in full force.

The singer will be releasing a new Japanese album, "WHO'S BACK," on September 3 and will also be holding her first live tour in four years.

"It has been a while since I've held a live tour in Japan, but because I have continued to work in Japan, it does not seem like a long time. I am currently working hard to bring a great performance for my fans," stated BoA.

The 27-year-old recently released her new single, "MASAYUME CHASING," which ranked No. 8 on the Oricon Single Daily Chart shortly after its release.

BoA recently made her debut into Hollywood with the film "Make Your Move," which was released in the States in April. The singer took on the role of Aya alongside "Dancing With the Stars" heartthrob Derek Hough, who played her love interest, Donny.

The soundtrack for the "Romeo and Juliet" -esque love story between the two dancers includes the hit track, and the main theme song for the movie, "Let Me In."

"The lead single off the film's accompanying soundtrack is the euphoric dance-pop track 'Let Me In,' performed by songwriter/producer Michael Corcoran who's helmed theme songs and tracks for movies and TV shows like 'Sam & Cat,' 'Victorious' and more," explains Billboard.

"Let Me In," which was released along with a music video starring Hough and BoA, was co-written by Corcoran, TV/film songwriter Eric Goldman and Hough himself, according to the music magazine.

"Make Your Move" was an opportunity for K-pop groups such as Girls' Generation and TVXQ to release music in English as well. The soundtrack also includes "Cheap Creeper" by the girl group and "Runnin On Empty" by TVXQ.

BoA seems to be happy with getting her foot in the door of the acting industry.

"I was happy to have tried something new. It was a great experience to try something other than music," stated BoA.
