Meryl Streep looks just haggard enough to play the witch, Emily Blunt channels her maternal instincts to play the wannabe mother and Anna Kendrick looks heavenly prancing around in her golden Cinderella dress.

A collage of Grimm fairy tale stories united under the storyline of baker and his wife striving to lift the witches curse, ‘Into the Woods’ explores the problematic nature of wishing and what it means to have a responsibility.

Rob Marshall, the director of Oscar-winning ‘Chicago’ and currently running Broadway production of ‘Cabaret’, directs Disney’s ‘Into the Woods’.
