Beyonce and Jay Z tried to dispel divorce rumors with a Instagram picture of Blue Ivy. The “happy family” trick only went so far as Beyonce was caught looking at apartments in Chelsea. Even MTV is requesting ‘Single Ladies’ singer to do a solo performance for the upcoming VMAs. Does everyone in the music industry know that Beyonce and Jay Z are heading into divorce?

Beyonce uploaded a picture of her baby daughter Blue Ivy and Jay Z by the beach:

She captioned the picture, “My favorite hue is JayZ Blue”.

Beyonce and Jay Z has been plagued with divorce rumors the past few months. From Beyonce changing the lyrics to ‘Resentment’ to hint at her husband’s infidelity to rumors that they are requesting separate dressing rooms for ‘On the Run’ tour, the dynamic duo has been under a harsh public gaze.

Most recently, Beyonce, 32, was spotted looking for an apartment in Chelsea, Manhattan. Is she looking for an apartment to move in with her two-year-old baby daughter Blue Ivy sans Jay Z?

 Even MTV seems to have gotten the message that things aren’t so peachy between the Billboard-topping couple. According to New York Daily News’ source, “MTV is still working everything out, but they want her to open the show with a big production, which has still not been announced.

“MTV wants her and they want her solo," the insider added.

Is MTV asking for a solo VMA performance just because of Beyonce’s sheer popularity or is it because there is too much divorce related drama between Beyonce and Jay Z?

VMAs will take place on August 24, 2014 at the Forum in Inglewood, CA.
