[KpopStarz One Global K! Chart] SISTAR, Block B, Red Velvet, And More; Who Ranks #1 For The First Week Of August
The month of August is here and it is time to reveal which of your favorite K-pop idols rank on our chart for the first week.
SM Entertainment has a new female group that is taking the industry by storm with their bright personalities and talent. San E collaborated with Bumkey as they have released a nineteen rated music video. Block B continues to make people smile as they have a hit single after their previous one; which was "Jackpot".
This being said, who ranks number one and is on our top ten chart for this week?
SISTAR Says "Touch My Body" As They Rank Number One
The gorgeous four ladies of SISTAR who are comprised of members Dasom, Soyou, Hyolyn, and Bora ranks number one for their fresh summer concept single titled, "Touch My Body". Working with producers Choi Kyu Sung and Rado has not disappoint the members because they have been winning first place trophies on the major music shows. Last week, SISTAR won on three out of the four music shows; which were 'M! Countdown', 'Music Bank', and SBS' 'Inkigayo'.
Choi Kyu Sung and Rado are known producers that has worked with known K-pop idols such as BEAST, Troublemaker, and 4Minute. Now that they have worked with SISTAR, the producers are happy with the result on how great the single is doing. Before SISTAR made their comeback, BEAST did a great job and won many trophies on the music shows for their single titled, "Good Luck".
With a catchy chorus and simple melody, SISTAR fans are thanking their fans for all the love and support that they are receiving for their new single. SISTAR will continue with promotions this week. They are doing a great job on entertaining the audience as they wear bright outfits and perform with lots of happiness.

Number 2: Girl's Day; "Darling"
Girl's Day and their fresh single titled, "Darling" ranks number two this week. Combining both sexy and cute, Girl's Day are doing a great job on entertaining the audience on the music shows. Minah, Hyeri, Sojin, and Yura brings color on stage with their bright personalities.
Number 3: Block B; "HER"
Block B has a new single titled, "HER". The tempo of this single is fast and full of happiness as they always dance with lots of energy. Since the guys could not promote their previous single titled "Jackpot", Block B released another single. They are doing a great job of entertaining the audience because they are currently promoting the single on the music shows. Their single ranks number three this week.
Number 4: INFINITE; "Back"
While the guys prepare for their small theater concert series 'That Summer 2', INFINITE ranks number four this week. Their single titled, "Back" has the word perfect written all over it. With action scenes regarding the guys fighting hard to save Kim Hyang Ki, the members do not mind getting a few bruises on their handsome face.
The director of their music video was Lim Sung Kwan; which he did a great job on making the music video look like a drama series. INFINITE member Hoya is currently resting his injured ankle; which he will wear a cast for one to two months. Last week, Hoya had to stand on the side of the stage due to his ankle. INFINITE's single ranks number four this week.
Number 5: San E and Bumkey; "Body Language"
Rapper San E who worked with Orange Caramel's Raina for their beautiful single titled, "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness" was very popular amongst the fans. Now, San E is back and worked with Bumkey this time. His new single titled, "Body Language" is ranked number five this week. The music video is rated nineteen because of its provocative content. Since the release; which was on August 4th, there has been many positive comments regarding the video. Number 6: Taeyang; "Eyes, Nose, Lips" Big Bang's Taeyang and his sweet ballad track regarding a past lover that he had ranks number six on our music chart. The single titled, "Eyes, Nose, Lips" are the three face features that he remembers regarding the woman whom he loved. Taeyang and his group member Daesung, recently were in Japan for the recording of their appearance on the Japanese variety show, 'Music Japan'. The show will broadcast on September 8th. Number 7: San E & Raina; "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness" San E and Raina's single titled, "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness" ranks number seven this week. With San E's great rapping and Raina's sweet voice, the two worked very well together. Their single has ranked number three on music charts such as Melon, Genie, and Naver. Number 8: Red Velvet; "Happiness" Amidst all the controversies regarding Red Velvet's music video "Happiness", the girls has impacted the industry with their bright personalities and talent. SM Entertainment's new female group Red Velvet are comprised of members Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Irene; which they have initiated promotions for their single titled, "Happiness". Their track ranks number eight this week. The single has an urban Euro-pop tempo to it. The message of their song is about loving oneself through happiness found in life. When the music single was released, the track topped major online music charts. "Happiness" was ranked number one on music charts such as Olleh Music, Genie, and Bugs. Red Velvet has received many praise and support from f(x)'s Amber and SHINee's Minho. Number 9: Lyn; "My Destiny" Lyn and her OST single titled, "My Destiny" ranks number nine this week. With the popularity of the drama 'My Love From Another Star', fans just cannot stop listening to all of the OST's. Lyn just recently collaborated with Leo; which they will release a new single titled, "Blossom Tears". The track was released on August 5th through online music stores. Number 10: Hyolyn; "Goodbye" Hyolyn and her OST single titled, "Goodbye" ranks number ten this week. Known for her sweet and angelic voice, this track remains to be popular amongst SISTAR fans. Currently, Hyolyn is promoting with her group as they have a great summer concept single to entertain the fans on the major music shows.
