ZEST, the brainchild of Zenith Media Contents, consists of members Shun, Yeho, Shin, Duksin, Choigo and Chiwoo. The members range from ages 18 to 24 with Shun as the leader of the group.

ZEST made the interesting choice to debut with a remake of Sobangcha's "Last Night Story," a Korean classic from the 80's. Although the boys weren't alive during the period that "Last Night Story" was released, the members explained during an interview with Mwave that they had their reasons for picking the track.

"Sobangcha sunbaenim was really famous and popular during the late 80s, and we thought, 'Why don't we try to reenact the glory days,' so we added our own dynamic rap and dance to bring out our own personality," explained ZEST member Yeho.

Shun added, "Because Sobangcha sunbaenim left such a strong impression with 'Last Night Story,' we were really curious about how it was going to be remade, but when we first got the song, it was really refreshing. The melody and overall feel was completely different, but the lyrics were the same, and the impact of the line 'Last night~' remained. To be honest, I was a little worried, but it was so much better than I expected, so we accepted I gradually."
