Robin Williams' daughter Zelda joins thousands of fans who are mourning the shocking death of their favorite comedian. Known for her close relationship with her father, Zelda Williams opted to use a quote from Antoine de Saint Exupéry's book "The Little Prince" for her tribute.

"You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them. In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night... You - only you will have stars that can laugh," read the quote.

Robin Williams' daughter has likewise posted a statement on Tumblr following her father's alleged suicide. The 25-year-old actress says it's difficult for her to understand why her father opted to go even if many loved him.

"He was always warm, even in his darkest moments. While I'll never, ever understand how he could be loved so deeply and not find it in his heart to stay," she wrote.

Robin Wiliams' daughter similarly thanks fans who are sharing the grief with her family: "It doesn't help the pain, but at least its a burden countless others now know we carry, and so many have offered to help lighten the load. Thank you for that."

The "Noobz" actress goes on to describe the "Bicentennial Man" actor as the "one of the kindest, most generous, gentlest souls I've ever known."

"I know for certain right now, one of them I that not just my world, but the entire world is forever a little darker, less colourful and less full of laughter in his absence," she added.

Williams' last Instagram update was a throwback photo of him and a young Zelda just in time for the latter's 25^th birthday.

"Quarter of a century old today but always my baby girl. Happy Birthday @zeldawilliams Love you!" read the caption.

The "Jumanji" star was found dead last Tuesday at his home in Tiburon, California. He passed away at the age of 63.
