Just a year after rapper Future proclaims fiancée, and mother of his child, Ciara to be "the One," reports claim that the two are splitting up after Ciara caught her future husband cheating. 

"I don't get into nothing to get out," Future declared in an interview last August with Hot 97's Angie Martinez. "This is the one. I said it before. I said it seven years ago, so for it come around and happen, it was just meant to be."

But according to recent reports, Future's actions may not have matched his seemingly heartfelt words.

Months after Ciara gave birth to their son, Future Zahir Wilburn, a "source" told US Weekly the "[he] cheated on her. Game over." Ciara is reportedly moving on from the "Honest" hip-hop star and rumors are circulating that she may even file for custody of their child.

Ciara recently gushed to Brides Magazine about her relationship with Future, citing their label Epic as the force that brought the two together. "I went into the studio strictly to work, but he was very calm and sweet, a gentleman."

The "I'm Out" singer also claimed Future to be the love of her life. "I knew right away that he was different. Now he's my best friend in the world, my partner."  

According to US Weekly, another "insider" shared that the singer is "devastated." "Ciara's focus is now the baby."

Amidst the cheating allegations, Future has been seen in the recording studio. A "friend" of the rapper recently dished to BuzzFeed on the effect the relationship with Ciara has had on Future. "That love thing kinda hindered him I think, it slowed him down mentally."

According to BuzzFeed, the source also gave his own philosophies about Future's love life. "Future has a weird way to love. You might see it's not all the way right, but it's still love. It's not traditional love."
