'M! Countdown' Highlights': Block B Wins #1 On The '2 Nights In LA' KCON 2014 Episode Special + Performance Recaps

Another week is here and 'M! Countdown' aired its '2 Nights in LA' special episode. Thousands of K-pop fans attended KCON 2014 as they enjoyed watching performances from some of their favorite stars. The venue was at the Memorial Sports Arena.

The winner for the special episode was Block B for their single titled, "HER". Congratulations!

All this being said, here are the performance recaps from KCON 2014.

Performance Recaps

Girls' Generation

Great female group Girls' Generation showed how awesome they are as they performed three singles on that night. Sooyoung could not attend because she was preparing for her upcoming drama. Though, the ladies still performed fantastic. Girls' Generation sang their three singles on that night; which were "Mr.Mr", "Mr. Taxi", and "Gee."

During their performance for "Mr.Mr", the ladies wore the same outfit that they wear on the music video; which is the black and white short dress. The ladies could not go back to change their outfits, so they wore the same one for the night. Tiffany told the audience to get engaged, scream, and sing along.

After "Mr.Mr," the members performed "Mr. Taxi." The members were all smiles and had a great time. Lastly, Girls' Generation went back to the past as they performed their hit single titled "Gee." The audience were entertained and happy to see the beautiful ladies perform in Los Angeles.


Big Bang member G-Dragon performed three of his singles at KCON this year. He brought swagger as he told everyone to get their "Crayon" for his first performance. Once he got the audience dancing and jumping, he kept the strong tempo going with "Crooked." Lastly, he slowed it down and said to the fans in LA that he is "One of a Kind." G-Dragon wore a short sleeve shirt because the weather temperature on that night was was warm.


CNBLUE performed three of their singles on that night. The songs were "Love", "Can't Stop", and "I'm Sorry." There is lots of love for CNBLUE in LA as people carried posters and held up banners.

CNBLUE, who are comprised of members Jung Yonghwa, Lee Jong Hyun, Kang Min-Hyuk, and Lee Jung Shin rocked the stage and thanked their fans. No matter where CNBLUE goes, their fans will always support them.


IU made her debut at KCON this year and performed her two singles. The songs that she sang were "Red Shoes" and "Friday." IU wore a white laced short dress on that night. The audience were entertained and loved her performance. Definitely, IU now has more fans in Los Angeles and would like to see her next year.


VIXX who are comprised of members N, Leo, Ken, Ravi, Hong Bin, and Hyuk performed two of their singles. The guys started with "Voodoo Doll" and performed with high energy. The guys looked great as they wore suits on that night. Afterwards, they performed their hit single titled "Eternity." The ladies were screaming when they were performing. VIXX rocked LA and performed great.


TEEN TOP has been missed as they performed two of their singles. The songs were "Rocking" and "Miss Right." TEEN TOP are comprised of members C.A.P, Chunji, L.Joe, Niel, Ricky, and Changjo. They did a great job of showing their fast footwork choreography. The people who attended were entertained and enjoyed their performance.


B1A4 who are comprised of members Jinyoung, CNU, Sandeul, Baro, Gongchan entertained the audience as they performed two of their singles on that night. The songs were "What's Happening" and "Solo Day." The guys always know how to have fun because they were smiling and waving to their fans.


BTS who are comprised of members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V, and Jungkook had lots of love in LA as they performed two of their singles on that night. BTS performed their singles titled, "Boy In Luv" and "Attack On Bangtan." The audience were screaming as they performed with lots of energy. BTS wore a black suit with a white long sleeved undershirt for their performance.

Jung Joon Young

Jung Joon Young performed his rock single titled "Teenager." The guys rocked along with him as he showed his amazing voice and electric guitar skills.

Afterwards, Jung Joon Young did a special stage performance as he did his own version of Michael Jackson's single titled "Black Or White." BTS's Rap Monster was on stage with him as he showed his awesome rapping skills. The audience loved his version and were entertained.

SPICA also performed at KCON and did a great job of entertaining the audience as they made their debut in the United States.
