The 10th JIMFF Kicks Off With Fan Excitement Despite Pouring Rain

The 10th annual International Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) began at 7 p.m. on August 14. It rained in the middle, but it didn't stop the audience from paying attention to the awards.

The representatives Brown Eyed Girls Gain and actor Kim Jae Wook as well as MCs Lee Yoon Ji and Lee Soo Hyuk, as well as 100 actors came.

From abroad, directors Craig Newland, Ahnghersteban, Elena Gwatelli, Samir Tratli, and Tieri Roro joined the ceremony.

The ceremony began with Gain and Kim Jae Wook's opening performance of "The Moon Song," OST of the movie, "Her." In addition, they sang Brown Eyed Soul's "Memories, As Much As Love."

Actor Lee Jae Hoon and actress Shim Eun Kyung won the Jecheon Actors awards. They were chosen through online polls and roadside polls.

Shim Eun Kyung said, "I filmed a trailer with Kim Ji Hoon director. I have a relation with Jecheon awards, and I'm happy to get an award. I will show better acting and become a better actress."

Lee Jae Hoon said, "Thank you for such a great award. It's been three weeks since I completed my army service. I was so nervous and excited to come here. You guys all look so pretty and lovely in ponchos. Thank you for coming. I thought of movies as music. I don't think movies can exist without music. I will become an actor who loves music more."

Jecheon Music & Movie Festival is the first music awards for movies in the nation. It is designed like a music ceremony and a concert to celebrate music as well as movies.
