Low-cut dresses can be risky business. British singer Pixie Lott nearly shocked a crowd at V Festival this weekend with a nip slip when her wardrobe, well... malfunctioned.

The "Mama Do" hitmaker managed to keep her cool, however, finishing her set with style.

"Thank God for nipple petals and for @holly_rudge having them in her Mary Poppins bag just before stage time," wrote Lott on Twitter, along with a set of praying hand emojis.

This was Lott's reaction after the mishap on the Weston Park stage at V Festival in Staffordshire, England this weekend.

The 23-year-old blonde bombshell appeared on stage wearing what the Daily Mail referred to as a "sexy bondage inspired frock." The short gold dress included zippers down the front and a low-cut neckline held up by cut out-generating black straps.

Lott was clearly excited for the music festival, posting anticipatory Twitter messages to her fans.

"En route to @VFestival best weekend of the year Who's coming to see my set at 2.20pm on the MTV Stage? Excited to watch @jtimberlake."

Sometime into Lott's performance, her dress began to slip, revealing flower petal pasties covering her nipples.

The Daily Mail reports that the singer, who also rocked a headful of wispy braids and gold cat eye make-up, appeared to remain unaware of the wardrobe malfunction, finishing the rest of her performance like a champ.

The incident didn't shock Lott into shying away from risqué outfits however. When the young British star took the stage at V Festival's other location, Hylands Park in Chelmsford, she sported a gleaming gold skirt and jacket, which opened up to a black velvet bra.

Aside from her fun on stage, Pixie Lott released her third self-titled album on Aug. 1^st.
