VIXX Attends 'KBEE 2014' In Sao Paolo And Brings The Hallyu To Brazil

Boy band VIXX made quite an impression in Brazil last week.

The six-member boy group captured the hearts of fans in Brazil at the "KBEE 2014" event that was held in Sao Paolo from August 13 to 15.

VIXX received the KOTRA award during the opening ceremony for their work as Korea's representative. The group also attended the CSR event and donated soccer equipment to a Brazilian youth soccer team called Academicus Villa Pasini.

The members also held a "K-pop Special Concert," performing their hits including "Voodoo Doll," "Light Me Up," "Miracle," "On and On" and more for 1,000 local fans.

Although it was the first time the boys visited Brazil, they received a surprising amount of support. Brazilian fans were even seen singing along to their tracks in Korean.

Costumes and various accessories worn by VIXX were sold at the highest price during an auction, as they proceeds from the event were donated to a local charity organization called "Lua Nova," according to Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

VIXX also made a special appearance on the popular Brazilian television show called "Agora e Tarde."

The idol group will be heading to Japan to hold solo concerts in Osaka and Tokyo on August 21 and 23.

As VIXX gets bigger in the K-pop industry, the boys are working towards the goal of making a brand for themselves.

"It's to the extent that we want to make our music, choreography, the clothes and even the lens that we wear popular and known as VIXX's," explained member N, according to the Korea Times.

VIXX has stood out in the K-pop world by contributing heavily to the making of their music, which isn't common in the Korean pop industry.

"I love where we are now, because it's different when you're working toward a dream, and when you have achieved your dream and are now working toward a new goal. And there is always that anxiety when you're a trainee about your future," stated N.
