Seohyun Announces TTS Return; Makes Headlines For Charity Work For Syrian Children

Girls' Generation's Seohyun has been making headlines for her work outside of the popular idol group.

The idol member attended the "Happy Day" concert that was held at The Rival in Seoul, where she donated bags and sneakers with her autograph on them in order to support the distribution of safe water and proper sanitation for refugee children in Syria, according to the Korean publication Osen.

"Happy Day" is an event that actor Jun Gwang Yool began with his family in collaboration with the child welfare association called Green Umbrella.

"Seohyun met Jun during her appearance on the SBS program 'Devotees' and have remained close, which is one of the reasons she chose to participate in the recent charity event," wrote Sara of Osen.

Aside from her charity work, Seohyun got the attention of fans and local media after receiving her diploma during her graduation ceremony held at Dongguk University in Junggu, Seoul today, according to the website Allkpop.com.

"Thank you sincerely to everyone who congratulated me on my graduation. I'll do my best to mature in society with this new responsibility and commitment. Thanks again to the professors who taught me so much. I love you. Thank you," tweeted the youngest member of Girls' Generation.

While celebrating the milestone in her academic career, Seohyun revealed that TTS would be making a comeback in the near future.

TTS, also known as TaeTiSeo, is the first official subgroup of Girls' Generation. The group consists of members Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun and was formed by SM Entertainment in 2012.

Since debuting, they've gone on to be nominated for major Korean music awards, including the Best Female Group award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards.

"TaeTiSeo will return soon. . . Since we haven't released an album in a very long time, we put a lot of passion and effort into it. I hope fans love it a lot," stated Seohyun.
