K-Drama OST Roundup: Melody Day Sings For The ‘Fated To Love You’ Soundtrack

K-Pop trio Melody Day lend their voices to part seven of the “Fated to Love You” original soundtrack, as the drama draws to a close.

“Fated to Love You” utilized whimsical plot elements to present a unique adaptation of the 2008 Taiwanese hit drama.

“You’re My Everything” captures the emotionality of the lead in to the penultimate episode , as Lee Gun (Jang Hyuk) and Ellie Kim (Jang Na Ra) attempt to decide if they are truly destined to be together.

“It’s Okay, That’s Love” continues to deliver a non-judgemental approach to mental illness while embracing those who are phobic of falling in love. The relationship dynamic between Jang Jae Yeol (Jo In Sung) and his brother, Jang Jae Beom (Yang Ik June) continues to be one of the most intriguing in the drama.

Psychiatric resident Ji Hae Soo (Gong Hyo Jin) continues to deliver the image of a strong female character, which is contradictory to the average Korean drama.

Hong Dae Kwang sings “I Feel You” for part five of the original soundtrack.

Ulala Session also appear on the “It’s Okay, That’s Love” soundtrack with “Love Fiction.” Part one of the full drama soundtrack was released on August 21.

Sweet Sorrow appear on the first part of the “Discovery of Love” soundtrack. Actress Jung Yu Mi from “I Need Romance 2012” stars as furniture designer Han Yeo Reum in “Discovery of Love,” which plays on the same concepts as the “I Need Romance” series. Sung Joon , who recently starred in “I Need Romance 3” is included in the cast as the seemingly dutiful boyfriend, Nam Ha Jin.

“Discovery of Love” gets an extra boost from Eric Mun of the legendary K-Pop group, Shinhwa. Eric portrays Kang Tae Ha, the ex-boyfriend who shakes up the tidy life of Han Yeo Reum.
