The MMA player Song Ga Yeon teared up while talking about her passed-away father.

In SBS "Roommates" aired on August 24, Song Ga Yeon went to her hometown Jeju Island with actor Lee Dong Wook and gagman Jo Sae Ho.

While hiking up the Hanra Mountain where her memories with her father were, Song Ga Yeon started to talk about her past while she wandered around. She said, "During the winter break of my freshman year in high school, my father passed away."

She continued, "I was so angry when he passed away but 4 months later, the storm came. It all came together. I wandered around for the first time. I couldn't get myself together and it was shocking. It wasn't anything like being hungry and having a hard time in that way."

When she was asked if she ever hated on her dad, she said, "Adults told me not to blame my father. But I never blamed him. He used to leave notes on my desk before school and the first note I ever got from him was, 'There is no one who can beat one that is having fun. Be joyful whatever you do. You don't have to be the best and you shouldn't be the worst to get insults from others. You can be just in the middle as long as you enjoy it'."
