Miley Cyrus iHeartRadio Festival Involvement Confirmed; Kyle And Jackie O Reveal Details

Miley Cyrus's iHeartRadio festival performance in Australia has been slated. The news was delivered by Kiis FM's Kyle and Jackie O.

According to The Daily Mail, the radio hosts revealed that they will be hosting a music festival in Sydney and that Miley Cyrus will headline the said event.

Among the artists joining Miley Cyrus in iHeartradio festival down under are Australian X-Factor judge Redfoo, At Sunset, Miracle and the Faders.

All flags are green as Miley Cyrus's iHeartradio performance was confirmed by the singer herself. "Are you guys throwing me a party or what?" Cyrus asked Kyle and Jackie O during the announcement. "Look, if it's a party, I'm there."

Cyrus also teased her Australian fans of what they can expect during her performance. "Getting to headline is really cool. I think people are going to dig the show especially since they haven't really seen me in a while," Cyrus said. "So it's going to be fun and there's no better party than an actual live show. I'm sure the harbour party will be fun, but my show is the ultimate party."

According to Billboard magazine, Cyrus will also hold the Australian leg of her "Bangerz" tour in time for the festival.

"This has been many months in the planning and we are incredibly grateful for the support of Miley Cyrus and the Australian Radio Network (ARN) to bring this to life in such a massive way," said Paul Dainty, Dainty Group - the "Bangerz" tour's Australian promoter - said in a statement.

Cyrus had previously performed in the US staging of the festival last year.

The festival is slated on October 18 at Sydney's Allphones Arena and tickets will be available on September 4.

iHeartRadio opened in Australia in 2013 and was the first country the online radio service branched out to.
