‘Frozen’ Soundtrack Nearly Removed One Song From The Film! Kristen Bell Thankful That Someone Insisted ‘At The Very Last Moment’ To Put It Back

Apart from the story, the "Frozen" soundtrack is also worthy to be acknowledged for contributing to the Disney film's success. While different versions of "Let It Go" surfaced, one song almost didn't make it into the film - "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?"

The exclusive detail will be revealed on September 2 as ABC airs "The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic." According to film producer Peter Del Vecho, the song was initially removed from the film because despite its strong parts, the track "just didn't add up."

Kristen Bell, who voices Anna in the film, said that it wasn't until the film's final stages when the creative team opted to put back the sisters' song: "It was not put back in the film until the witching hour before we released it."

"Thankfully, at the very last moment, someone made the call of putting it back in. I think it's one of the best songs in the movie," she added.

Aside from the "Frozen" soundtrack, the film paved way for successful merchandise items such as doll and costumes. Random House will reportedly release a series of books next year following the lives of Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and other key characters.

The first book entitled "Anna and Elsa 1: All Hail the Queen" as well as "Anna and Elsa 2: Memory and Magic" will come out on January 26, 2015.

While Disney has not yet confirmed the possibility of having a sequel, a stage-based musical is believed to come out.

"Right now, it's too early for us to talk anything about that. What we have talked about is a Broadway show, which is under development. There's no specific timeline for that," said Del Vecho to TV Line.

The producer said that a "Frozen" Broadway show would be the "next logical step" for the film.
