Block B Dominates Japan With First Solo Concert

Boy group Block B wrapped up their first overseas solo concert "2014 Blockbuster In Japan" at Sunghwali, according to the idol group's management agency Seven Seasons.

Block B performed at the "Grand Cube Osaka" venue on August 16 and 17 as well as the Maihama Amphi Theater on August 30 and 31, according to the Korean publication Osen.

The K-pop group performed for a total of 10,000 local fans in Japan. Following their solo concert in Korea back in May, the boys of Block B were spotted giving back to their fans for the love and support they've been getting since they debuted in 2011.

"Although we're not the best at Japanese, we're happy to have been able to interact with our fans a little bit more by speaking their language. We want to be able to speak with our fans in their native language during our future overseas performances as well," stated Block B member Park Kyung.

The seven-member boy group currently consists of Zico, Lee Taeil, B-Bomb, Ahn Jaehyo, U-Kwon, Park Kyung and P.O. All of the members have dancing, rapping, composing and singing experience.

Block B has made a strong comeback with their new label and has been topping music charts with their recent single "Her." They were even featured on an article on the Billboard website for their quirky music video for the hit track.

"The boy band's latest, the viewer is hit with an array of quick shots showing the boys mini-golfing, jumping on top of golf carts, falling of bicycles, throwing golf clubs, burping bubbles and more as the band sings through the first verse. As we're introduced to the guys' individual styles - such as P.O's bright-pink hair radiating on the screen - it's certainly worth hitting the replay button to make sure you catch all the hilariously random moments," wrote the music magazine.
