Zelda Williams Back On Twitter After A Short Hiatus, Robin Williams' Daughter Thanks Her Followers

Zelda Williams is back on Twitter after a 3 weeks of hiatus.

Robin Williams' daughter Zelda Williams thanks her followers on her Twitter account on September 2.

A 25-year-old Zelda tweeted on Monday for the first time since August 13 with a message of "Thank you," which came a link to her Tumblr account.

The Tumblr post has a quote from actor Harvey Fierstein, "Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself."

This return comes weeks after Zelda Williams left Twitter on August 12 after two users sent her edited pictures of her father, just days after Robin Williams hung himself at the age of 63.

She wrote on Twitter: "Please report @PimpStory @MrGoosebuster. I'm shaking. I can't. Please. Twitter requires a link and I won't open it. Don't either. Please."

"I'm sorry. I should've risen above. Deleting this from my devices for a good long time, maybe forever. Time will tell. Goodbye," she added.

Zelda Williams on August 13 also disclosed that aside from Twitter she will be also leaving the Instagram after encountering negativity. She wrote on Instagram: "I will be leaving this account for a [bit] but while I heal and decide if I'll be deleting it or not. In this difficult time, please try to be respectful of the accounts of myself, my family and my friends. Mining our accounts for photos of dad, or judging me on the number of them is cruel and unnecessary. There are a couple throughout, but the real private moments I shared with him were precious, quiet, and believe it or not, not full of photos or selfies."
