Gwen Stefani told Gavin Rossdale about her pregnancy in an unconventional way: via email. Bush frontman revealed all the details as well as touched on the split rumors in a recent interview. 

In an interview on Howard Stern's radio show, it was revealed that Gwen Stefani told Gavin Rossdale about her pregnancy via email as the latter was on the road.

"By the way,you had another kid. I was surprised," Stern said to Rossdale. "I thought you were done."

"Me too," the Bush frontman replied. "I got this email on the road, from Gwen, and the title was in capitals, 'LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID TO ME NOW.' I was like, 'What is this?' My blood pressure went through the roof. And I opened the e-mail, andit was [a picture of] the pregnancy stick."

While Gwen Stefani told Gavin Rossdale about her pregnancy via email, they nevertheless were happy to welcome their son Apollo in February.

While doing the interview with Stern, Rossdale was also asked about the effects of rumors thrown around about him and Stefani splitting up.

"It was the same day with that tragic, terrible shooting down of the plane," Rossdale recalled. "And I felt so humiliated that anything, even the biggest load of bulls**t, had any place in the media when such a tragic event was going on, and I cursed the magazine and that girl that wrote that, and I just thought, 'what a way to ruin your life.'"

The British guitarist expounded about the pain of having to go through such rumors. "Of course, it's humiliating. Especially when you just put so much in and people... they just want you to fail."

Gavin Rossdale shared how little things including a simple joke can be taken in a different light and blown out of proportion by the media. "I'm pretty dry and I've got a decent sense of humor, so they say to me, 'You're doing this, you've got a new record... 'How do you guys find time for each other?'" he shared.

"And I said, 'We don't, that's why we've been together so long,'" he added. "I was f**king around. That's funny to me. Where I'm from, that's funny. And it was funny, for about a week, and then it's like, 'oh... interesting.' So it's just me and my big mouth."

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have been married for 12 years and have three children together.
