MTV reality star Diem Brown has been released from the hospital. The "Challenge" cast shares an intimate look at her battle with cancer.

Trying to win a war against cancer for the third time, MTV reality star Diem Brown appears more than determined to overcome the struggle.

"Being home makes me feel that much closer to normal," said Brown in an interview with People. "It's a big step in the right direction."

While Diem Brown continues to remain positive, she admitted the difficulty of the struggle she's going through. "My mind is not really on the same level as my body. My mind thinks I can get up and do anything I want, and my body doesn't really let me," she said. "It's frustrating to work through. Going back and forth to the bathroom feels like a marathon. It's like, 'Why is this taking so much energy?' I need a chair in the elevator! I ahte that feeling."

In another article, Brown shared how important it is for her to show the reality of her condition and that while she wants to keep positive, the process of recuperation is not a walk in the park.

"It's okay to admit that at times it's hard, that it can be tough," the 32-year-old reality star said.

But MTV reality star Diem Brown maintains a strong, positive attitude with regard her sickness.

"I can't think about how long this journey is, I have to think about the fact that I'm here. The fact that I flatlined still boggles my mind. I wasn't here. I'm very grateful that I am. The journey is so worth it, because living and being alive is more than a cliché," she explained.

After being in the hospital for a couple of emergency surgeries, Brown is now home and trying to recuperate.

Along with friends, MTV reality star Diem Brown attended the Run For Her event , which aims to raise funds for ovarian cancer research. It was the first time she came out in public after being hospitalized for colon cancer. Brown had ovarian cancer in 2012 and was able to overcome it twice.
