Misfortune struck ZE:A's Taehun when he was hospitalized for a nasal fractured obtained during his first ever MMA match.

MMA, or mix martial arts, is a form of martial arts that requires full body combat. It is also a strategy sport where competitors try to defeat their opponents using grappling and striking.

According to a representative from Star Empire, the agency that manages Taehun and his group ZE:A, on September 13, "Taehun fractured his nose during his MMA debut match on the 12th. Due to a crack in the bone of his nose, he underwent surgery immediately after the match."

The source also shared,"He is currently hospitalized, and we are keeping an eye on his progress. Although Taehun lost the match, he realized his dream of debuting as an MMA fighter, and he has been extremely happy about it."

Taehun faced Japanese opponent Daisaku Tanaka on September 12th in his first ever MMA match.
