'Go Like Hell' Movie Controversy Featured Hollywood A-list Stars Tom Cruise And Brad Pitt Rekindle Feud After Two Decades?

Tom Cruise & Brad Pitt feud over "Interview with a Vampire" movie 20 years ago is said to be rekindled because of the upcoming "Go Like Hell" movie, which will possibly feature the two Hollywood actors.

World War Z Star Brad Pitt is currently rumored to be joining "Jack Reacher" star Tom Cruise in the movie adaptation of A.J. Baime's novel "Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans," as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

20th Century Fox has reportedly cast Tom Cruise to play the role of racecar driver turned engineer Carroll Shelby who helped Henry Ford II take on the European racing scene.

Now, his co-star from the 1994 film "Interview With a Vampire," "World War Z" star Brad Pitt is now rumored to be teaming up with Cruise once more after 20 long years.

However, it has been reported that the Brad Pitt & Tom Cruise are having some kind of animosity way back in 1994, when they were still shooting the Vampire themed movie.

According to Star Magazine, the drama between the two co-stars is already starting to heat up. The magazine's insider reported, "Brad feels like he is top dog now. He is not going to let Tom call the shots, so he got his good friend Javier Bardem to join the film as Enzo Ferrari. That way he has some backup if Tom decides to star acting like a diva. Tom hasn't agreed 100 percent to the role yet, but neither of them is going to back down. This is going to be the ultimate battles of the egos."

National Enquirer added that, "Both these guys are used to being top dogs, and when you get them in the same movie, there's bound to be trouble."

The gossip publication added, "But the dramatic tension in the movie may pale to that off-screen because Pitt and Cruise have plenty of leftover animosity from shooting 'Vampire' in 1994."

Looks like Tom Cruise & Brad Pitt feud is going to spark once more!

However, such claims were soon refuted by GossipCop claiming that these are pure speculations saying, "a close friend of Cruise said that A source close to Cruise tells Gossip Cop the Enquirer's claims are 'not true,' and there's 'no clash' between the superstars."

"World War Z" star Brad Pitt's would be role in "Go Like Hell" movie is still unknown, since the film's development is still on its early stage. However, it's very interesting to see the two superstars team up again on an exciting movie featuring the battle between two automobile "gods."

A description from the book "Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans" below could very well give you an idea on how the movie would take place.

By the early 1960s, the Ford Motor Company, built to bring automobile transportation to the masses, was falling behind. Young Henry Ford II, who had taken the reins of his grandfather's company with little business experience to speak of, knew he had to do something to shake things up. Baby boomers were taking to the road in droves, looking for speed not safety, style not comfort. Meanwhile, Enzo Ferrari, whose cars epitomized style, lorded it over the European racing scene. He crafted beautiful sports cars, "science fiction on wheels," but was also called "the Assassin" because so many drivers perished while racing them.

"Go Like Hell" tells the remarkable story of how Henry Ford II, with the help of a young visionary named Lee Iacocca and a former racing champion turned engineer, Carroll Shelby, concocted a scheme to reinvent the Ford company. They would enter the high-stakes world of European car racing, where an adventurous few threw safety and sanity to the wind. They would design, build, and race a car that could beat Ferrari at his own game at the most prestigious and brutal race in the world, something no American car had ever done.

"Go Like Hell" transports readers to a risk-filled, glorious time in this brilliant portrait of a rivalry between two industrialists, the cars they built, and the "pilots" who would drive them to victory, or doom.
